Every ad platform renders creatives inside fixed placements — and when your file doesn't match the placement's aspect ratio, the platform crops, letterboxes or stretches it automatically. That means cut-off headlines, missing logos and CTAs pushed out of frame, all of which quietly tax your click-through rate before the auction even starts.
Resolution matters just as much. Meta, TikTok and Google all recompress uploads; a creative exported at the bare minimum size comes out visibly soft, and blurry ads read as low-quality offers. The fix costs nothing: export at 1080 px or higher on the short side and match the placement ratio exactly.
This checker reads your file's real dimensions, ratio, size and duration locally in your browser, then compares them against the current specs for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google Display — including exact-size banner formats. Green means the placement is covered, amber means it works but a higher resolution is recommended, red means the file will be cropped or rejected.
Your creatives never leave your device — the analysis is plain JavaScript running locally, with no uploads and no storage.
